Terms of Service.
Agreement to the Terms
By viewing or using this Service, which can be accessed at www.richierobinson.com, or directly via e-mail, all these service’s terms of service and agree with any applicable laws in Australia. If you disagree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from accessing these services and all contact with Richie Robinson himself. All materials provided are protected by trademark law and copyright. These Terms and Conditions refer to ALL services, including Guitar Lessons Adelaide, The Blue Lounge Sound Studio, Acoustic Australia, all his music projects, etc.
For purposes of the Terms of Service, the terms “RR”, “him”, “his”, “himself” as the sole trader for all services.
Privacy Policy
RR ensures strict confidentiality by refraining from sharing any personal information, encompassing location, phone numbers, and all individual data, prioritizing individual confidentiality and personal data protection.
Business Rights
As a business owner, RR has the right to decision making for each and every aspect related to all processes for ALL services.
If the customer/client displays any unruly behavior that may compromise his safety he has the right to terminate or discontinue any work in progress. This includes:
· Harassment/Bullying
· Stalking
· Threats of any kind
· ALL other unacceptable behavior
RR welcomes and values individuals from all walks of life, including all genders, ethnicities etc. RR is dedicated to fostering empowerment and support in various forms for everyone.
Recordings, including Photographs, Videos, and Sound Recordings
All studio users agree before entering the studio, that NO video taping, sound recording, or recording of any sort is to be made of ANY of RR’s tools of trade, trade processes, trade secrets, or intellectual property, which includes but is not limited to; sound, vision, techniques, and ideas carried out or expressed in the course of any studio work including lessons.
All intellectual property of RR remains the property of RR, and can only be shared by a means that has been cleared with express permission before any recording is made.
Any dissemination of RRs intellectual property of any sort without due permissions and contracts is theft, and is punishable by law.
Any videos that RR makes for students to learn performance parts is STRICTLY NOT TO BE SHARED WITH ANYONE, as this is intellectual property that is given in good for use by the student to whom it is given.
Again, ANY dissemination will considered theft, and is punishable by law.
Studio users also agree that RR may at any time take recording of his intellectual property as he sees fit, and when it may be required for promotional services.
In return, studio users agree that before they are included in any recordings, including photographs, that verbal permission will be obtained beforehand. All studio users will be asked beforehand for permission to post any recordings, or photographs for promotional purposes.
Refund Policy
To be eligible for a refund, a formal refund request form MUST be completed and submitted. Refunds will require customers to video record all homework provided for documentation purposes.
If you are NOT a student, this does not apply to you.
RR does not provide refunds for gigs/performances or studio recording time.
If you are experiencing any financial hardship RR will be happy to discuss a payment plan. This applies to ALL aspects of his business.
Refunds for Term Booking Absences: A doctor's certificate is necessary if you're permanently unable to fulfil a term booking and seek a refund.
Students
In compliance with our terms and conditions, we ask for prior notification if you're unable to attend your scheduled lesson. Adhering to the specified behaviour guidelines, please inform us accordingly. Your cooperation is appreciated to ensure smooth scheduling processes.
Medical Absences:
If, for any reason, you're unable to attend your scheduled lesson, please let us know in advance. For absences due to illness, we kindly ask that you provide a doctor's certificate showing a statement that you are not well enough to attend, and which dates that will affect.
You will need to make this available as soon as possible so we can schedule around your changes. A quick snap or screenshot of the document via a phone message 0411 446 507, The Signal app, or email guitarlessonsadelaide@outlook.com will suffice in most cases. If you don’t have access to such technology, then simply bring your certificate to the next lesson.

Your well-being and safety, along with that of our staff and fellow students, are our utmost priority.
Arranging No-Fee Absences:
By Pre Arrangement: You can pre-arrange no-fee absences either at the beginning of the term or with at least a two-week notice, whichever provides more flexibility for you.
Rescheduling Encouraged: Whenever possible, consider rescheduling to avoid non-attendance fees. We want to support you in getting the most out of your lessons.
Please note: Rescheduling is defined as organising the missed lesson for another time during that lesson week or fortnight. It does not include leaving the booking time to the next due lesson. Leaving the lesson time to the next due booking is a cancellation, and must be duly paid for, as set out in the fees section below.
No-Show Policy: In case of a no-show without prior contact, the full fee will be applicable.
Short Notice Absences: Absences with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full fee.
Graduated Holding and Absentee Fees: Depending on the notice period for non-attendance:
In the event of a no-show on your booking and no contact, the full fee must be paid.
Notice of non-attendance of 24 hours or less will incur the full fee.
Between 24 hours to one week: 50% holding fee.
Between 1 and 2 weeks: 10% holding fee.
Lesson dates for no-fee absences: Bookings can be pre-arranged at the beginning of the term, or two weeks in advance; whichever is the greater.
Lesson Transfers: Lessons can be transferred to another student, provided the specifics of the lesson (including booking timings) remain unchanged.
The client and Richie Robinson agree to the terms & conditions of this contract as set out herewith.
Multiple Abenses: Such as holidays, and life events. Finally, if you require multiple absences, please let us know at least two weeks in advance. We are happy to waive your fee for a maximum of three absence notices.
Lesson Start and Finish Times:
Respect for all students is an effort that comes from the teacher, the admin, and from other students. There may be times when an extra few minutes is required for a student to absorb a lesson fully. This respect is given to every student.
Teachers and staff are accommodating with this whenever it is required so that all students can make the most of their lessons.
We recommend that students allow a small amount of flex time (up to 15 minutes) for the start and finish of each lesson.
We do our best to run to schedule, however, timing-to-the-minute never takes priority over student needs, or self-empowerment training, or creative and positive habits.
It is important that support workers and helpers understand these policies and assist in upholding these ideals.
Feedback
RR believes that it is common decency to provide feedback in any way possible. This includes Guitar Lessons, Gigs/performances, His studio work, etc.
ALL MUST provide feedback to RR after lesson terms, gigs, and/or studio work is completed. Also some periodic feedback with lesson bookings is much appreciated. This can be done via an official “Jotform” as supplied by RR, and will be emailed out on a regular basis.
Students and clients may also be prompted to give a Google review.
· Collaborations: ALL Artists MUST provide feedback in a timely and respectful manner on receipt of the job files. ALL MUST credit RR on mixed, mastered and released track(s).
· All CAN recommend RR and his services to any thirdparty individual or site, etc.
Copyright
ALL original RR content is protected by copyright law. Exceptions include RR produced cover songs, all of which are cleared and licensed through a third-party service.
Disclaimer
All the services are provided on an “as is” basis. You agree that your use/receiving of the services products will be at your own risk. RR makes no warranties, may it be expressed or implied, therefore negates all other warranties. Furthermore, he does not make any representations concerning the accuracy or reliability of the use of the products/services provided to his clients/customers on social media, e-mail and his website or otherwise relating to such materials or any sites linked everywhere.
Limitations
RR will no longer be held accountable for any damages or further work on the same projects after the final payment has been made, or if all contact/work is ceased if the safety of the business and himself are compromised.
Some jurisdiction does not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitations of liability for incidental damages; however, these limitations apply to all whom is in correspondence with him.
Corrections
There may be information or materials given that may contain typographical and auditory miscalculations. RR May however revisit any project(s) if any changes required/needed.
He will not promise that any of the materials in these projects are accurate, complete, or current. However, RR will provide the best product/services possible.
Modification of Terms of Use
RR may revise or include supplemental terms in these Terms of Service on its Website or to his clients/customers from time to time without prior notice. Please ensure that you check the current Terms of Use every time you use the Website. He may provide a copy of the Terms of service to clients/customers. By using her services, you agree to these terms.
Applicable law
Any claim related to Richie Robinson’s services provided shall be governed by Australian Consumer Law (ACL) without regards to its conflict of law provisions.
Conditions of Payment
We cannot hold a slot for anyone for longer than three weeks without a holding fee.· Absentee fees will be billed by invoice at the beginning of the next lesson, or within 15 days via email or snail mail.
All invoices have a maximum due period of seven days.
Unpaid absentee fees will be directly forwarded to debt collectors after 90 days with one reminder only.
Absentees will also be responsible for debt collector and extra admin costs.
